As announced in the September 4 Nintendo Direct, Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag and Assassin's Creed Rogue will be released for Switch this winter.

We had an inkling that the games would appear on Switch after a listing for the ports surfaced on a Greek video game retailer’s website, and now it’s been officially confirmed. Assassin's Creed: The Rebel Collection will bundle both games with all DLC, including the highly rated and action-packed Freedom Cry, which follows the story of Adewale from Black Flag.  Assassin’s Creed III Remastered was released for the Switch in March 2019, and now we can consider the Kenway saga complete for the console. Tidy.

Assassin's Creed: The Rebel Collection will use unique features to the Switch; these are  touchscreen support, an optimised HUD, and motion aiming. Motion aiming seems like a questionable technique, given that Edward Kenway and Shay Cormac were meant to be dead shots, but maybe it’ll really make you feel like you’re rolling about on the high seas.

Assassin's Creed: The Rebel Collection is out for Nintendo Switch on December 6. Watch the announcement trailer below.
