Assassin’s Creed 3 supports stereoscopic 3D when played on the Wii U GamePad, Imgmr reports.
Unlike the 3DS, however, the 3D effect is anaglyphic requiring the user to wear a pair of green and magenta glasses. The 3D effect can be adjusted on a strength scale of 0-10.
While supporting anaglyphic 3D doesn’t make the GamePad special – it works with traditional 2D screens – it’s the first instance of a Wii U remote play game being offered in 3D.
Assassin’s Creed 3 will be released for Wii U in the UK on November 30.
