Assassin’s Creed 3 is the fastest-selling game in publisher Ubisoft’s history, with total sell-through of more than seven million copies worldwide in just one month.
“We are delighted with the performance of Assassin’s Creed III this Christmas,” said Rob Cooper, UK managing director, Ubisoft. “This is a beautiful and epic game of exceptional quality and we’re pleased that our fans have responded so well to the brand new universe, storyline and game experience.”
Ubisoft says that in solo missions alone, players have accumulated more than 82 centuries of gaming time and committed more than three billion assassinations. In multiplayer, more than twice as many players have taken part compared to Assassin’s Creed Revelations. There have been more than five billion multiplayer sessions logged.
