Assassin’s Creed 3 will offer a DLC Season Pass, providing a one time reduced price way of accessing future DLC.
The Season Pass was outed by this week’s US PlayStation Store update, which included pre-order options for Assassin’s Creed 3 and Gold Editions of the game.
These Gold Editions – one which includes PS Vita game Liberation – include the Season Pass.
“It gets you future DLC at a slight discount for purchasing it up front,” community manager Kristine Steimer explained.
The Season Pass will also be sold separately, but it’s not yet clear if the extra value pass will be offered on Xbox 360, Wii U and PC.
Assassin’s Creed 3 launches on October 31 for Xbox 360 and PS3 and a few weeks later on PC and Wii U.
