Assassin’s Creed 2 will be out on November 17, Ubisoft has confirmed.
Speaking at Ubisoft’s E3 2009 press conference, Yannis Mallat, president of Ubisoft Montreal Studio, confirmed the date and showed off a brand new cinematic trailer for the hotly anticipated sequel.
Ubisoft also revealed that Assassin’s Creed has sold over eight million units to date, and is the fastest-selling new IP ever.
Ubisoft plans to expand the game with a series of short films based on the Assassin’s Creed 2 universe, due to be released this autumn.
