Codemasters has announced that Ashes Cricket 2009, the official video game of this summer’s Ashes series, will be released on August 7 for Xbox 360, PS3, PC and Wii.
The game promises to deliver all the drama of the nPower Ashes series at the five official grounds, plus Test match, One Day International and 20 over games. The 360, PS3 and PC versions all offer full online multiplayer, while the Wii edition will have players using the Wii Remote to perform batting and bowling motions.
Xbox 360, PS3 and PC versions are developed by Transmission Games, while Gusto Games is handling the Wii edition.
