Army of Two assistant producer Matt Turner has revealed that Army of Two players will soon be able to get their hands on new content for the cooperative title.

“So there is 1 new multiplayer map arriving as well as 2 new campaign maps in the not too distant future,” said Turner over on EA Forums. “As well as SSC Challenge- that’s the obstacle course for mercs that I mentioned in my previous post.”

For those who are still on the fence about picking up Army of Two, an Xbox 360 demo should be coming very soon.

“So guess what people. The demo is coming. Oh Yeah. Sha-bam. Looks like it will be going live April 1st,” said Turner. “So for those of you that have yet to give our game a whirl you can download it off Xbox LIVE and take it for a test run.”

According to Turner the demo will feature the training and first map of the game.

We weren’t blown away by Army of Two. However, plenty of gamers have been impressed by the co-op play, so it’s certainly worth checking the demo when it arrives tomorrow.
