During its investor conference call this week, EA has revealed that Crytek’s FPS Crysis and EA Montreal’s Army of Two have both been kicked down the release schedule.
Crysis has been lapping up praise since first making its debut, and is being tipped as one of the must have games for 2007. The game was expected early in 2007, but will now ship no sooner than April 2007, and could ship anytime up to 12 months from this date.
Army of Two, the co-op action title for PS3 and Xbox 360 has also been moved into the next fiscal year, joining Crysis in the April 07 – March 08 release window. However, it’s likely that both titles will arrive earlier rather than later.
We’ll bring you more information when we get it.
