Following news that Arma 2 has gone free-to-play, Bohemia Interactive has also announced Arma Cold War Assault.

Originally released as Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis in 2001, the game is being resurrected by Bohemia under the title of Arma: Cold War Assault.

Cold War Assault will also include the Resistance expansion pack, which was known as Operation Flashpoint: Resistance back in 2002.

Existing users of Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis are welcome to download Arma: Cold War Assault for free. For everybody else, the game will also be released through various online stores at some point soon.

An exact date has yet to be announced.
