Arma 3, the tactical military shooter, will release digitally and in stores worldwide on September 12, 2013, Bohemia Interactive has announced.

The game ships with the open terrains of Altis (270 km²) and Stratis (20 km²), 12 singleplayer showcases, 3 faction showcases, 9 multiplayer scenarios, 10 firing drill challenges, more than 20 vehicles and 40 weapons, 5 factions, the scenario editor and modding support.

As was confirmed earlier this week, the game’s single-player campaign will be released as three DLC episodes following the launch. The first episode, Survive, will be released within one month of the game’s launch. Episodes Adapt and Win will appear in the following months.

You still have the opportunity to grab the game at a reduced price by paying to take part in the beta – £29.99 on Steam and the Bohemia stores. Prices for the game will increase at launch.
