Studio Wildcard has revealed the official launch trailer for Ark: Survival Evolved and it’s Otter this world. Showcasing the game’s varying environments and the many activities players will be able to get up to such as base-building (above and below water), riding robotic dinosaurs, the trailer even shows the act of lobbing Otters into lakes. It all looks completely crazy and perhaps that’s a good thing.

Ark: Survival Evolved will leave its early access phase and become a fully-fledged release on August 29. The developers have said that ‘the adventure has only begun’ as it continues to develop and refine the game even more in the coming weeks and months.

Studio Wildcard wrote in the trailer’s description that the full release of Ark: Survival Evolved will show the ‘next phase of our journey’, and it’s indicated that there’s plenty more to come, as it adds ‘additional gameplay, creatures, and story elements’ to the game experience with the promise of ‘even more fun’.

Ark: Survival Evolved is an action-adventure survival game, where the player can build bases, craft items and more as they try to survive in a world teeming with robotic dinosaurs. There are also plenty of berries to eat while setting out on this endless adventure, so that’s one of your five-a-day sorted.

Ark Survival Evolved is out on August 29 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
