Multiplayer survival and dinosaur hunting game ARK Survival Evolved has sold two million copies since launching on Steam Early Access in June, developer Studio Wildcard has announced.

“We’ve recently launched our game ARK Survival Evolved on Steam’s Early Access and have been blown away by the amount of support we’ve received from fans and the gaming community,” wrote Jesse Rapczak, Studio Wildcard co-founder.

“As of today, we are currently at two million copies sold!”

In celebration of the milestone the dev took to Reddit for a AMA, in which it confirmed the Xbox One Game Preview Program edition will be launching this winter, so “start warming up your Xbox Ones”.

The release version of ARK is planned for June 2016, at which point PS4 and Xbox One versions should launch too.
