Studio Wildcard has announced that ARK: Survival Evolved is stomping its way onto Nintendo Switch this Fall with all of the content featured in previous versions of the prehistoric adventurer.

The studio confirmed the news during Epic Games’ ‘State of Unreal’ keynote at the Game Developers Conference 2018 this week, before debuting a demo of the title running on the Big N’s latest hardware. The game is being developed in conjunction with Abstraction Games and will include over 100 additional prehistoric and fantasy-inspired creatures.

‘The Switch’s handheld mode provides a fantastic new capability for survivors who want to fully immerse themselves in the vast worlds of ARK,’ said game lead Jeremy Stieglitz.

‘With this new version, Switch players can go directly from hunting and taming while sitting on the couch, to forming online tribes and searching out new conquests when on the bus, waiting in line, or wherever they happen to be.’

ARK: Survival Evolved was released on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One last year following its Steam Early Access debut in June 2015. A concrete release date for the Switch version has yet to be announced.
