Argos has said that it will honour cheap pre-orders for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s Legacy Edition placed over the weekend.
The edition was temporarily reduced on Saturday to £39.99 on both PS4 and Xbox One – £30 cheaper than its usual £69.99 price. But after initially telling me that the price was an “error” and that orders would be “cancelled and refunded”, Argos support clarified today that they would, in fact, be honoured.
Other people have been told the same thing, too.
The game has since returned to £69.99 on Argos’ website.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s Legacy Edition includes both Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare Remastered, and is the only way players will be able to play the upcoming remaster. Both games are set to launch on November 4.
