In its second weekend since releasing on October 30th, Arc Raiders’ red-hot momentum continued as its 24-hour player count peaked at over 460,000, beating Battlefield 6. As of writing, this positions Arc Raiders as the fourth most played game on Steam.
Illustrated by Steam Charts, Arc Raiders reached its all-time 24-hour peak concurrent player count of 462,488 on November 9th. During its first weekend the game exceeded 350,000 players, so this is over 100,000 more. Not only that, but it’s nearly double the game’s 264, 673 peak at launch, and it’s a lot more than the free-to-play Server Slam which peaked at 189,000+.
In comparison, Battlefield 6 climaxed at 441,035 on November 9th. This means Embark’s extraction shooter beat EA’s juggernaut by just over 20,000. Battlefield 6 still has a much higher all time 24-hour peak of 747,440 players, but its player count has declined to a peak consistency of between 350,000 and 450,000.

Right now, Embark’s extraction shooter is the fourth most played game on Steam. It’s positioned just ahead of Battlefield 6 at fifth, but it’s behind PUBG Battlegrounds, DOTA 2, and Counter-Strike 2. We don’t know how much more its player count can grow, but Arc Raiders has been a massive success so far.

It has reportedly sold 2.5 million copies and ignited a fierce debate surrounding Game of the Year contention. Its most recent update also added three new map conditions for players to endure, and the game has been heavily praised as the new benchmark for Unreal Engine games development by the developer of Palworld.
