Arc Raiders Executive Producer, Aleksander Grondal, recently conducted an interview with YouTuber, Skill Up, and briefly touched upon some of the “ambitious post-launch plans” at Embark. The producer also teased an update for Stella Montis before Christmas but was very cryptic and vague.

Asked about whether Embark has plans to update the game consistently, Grondal said, “Our ambition is to keep things updated on a consistent basis with new content, maps, arcs and quests and new systems and things”.

Grondal added, “We have a pretty ambitious post-launch plan for the game and maybe we’ll see something before Christmas that has something to do with the Stella Montis”. Lastly, the producer said, “There might be more arcs about, but definitely will be a couple of bigger updates before the end of the New Year’s and next year is kind of being planned out right now”.

As for the whereabouts of a roadmap, there is one coming and hopefully it can be shared soon. The roadmap is not out right now as “things are a bit in flight still”. You can listen to the executive producer’s remarks at the 2:04:00 point of SkillUp’s video.

Previously, Embark have said they internally regard Arc Raiders as a 10-year game, and there’s no roadmap yet because they don’t want to make promises that possibly don’t materialise through a change of plans.

While we’re blind about what’s to come post-launch, Embark has revealed changes from the Server Slam for the full release on October 30th, including nerfs to the Flying Arcs. Embark has also said they are “looking into” solutions regarding the Graphical Downgrade for the Server Slam from Technical Test 2, and they are not planning to add first-person mode as it’s “very implausible”.
