A new version of Apple’s Game Center will allow users to send each other challenges, Apple has announced.
The new features will come alongside the launch of iOS 6 this Autumn. Apple announced the new features at its WWDC conference yesterday (reported via Gamasutra) .
iOS 6 will also integrate your Facebook account, allowing you to see your Facebook friends with Game Center accounts.
The new version of the Mac OS X operating system, Mountain Lion, will also bring Game Center to Mac desktops and laptops, which will include support for cross-platform play.
iOS 6 will support iPhone 3GS and beyond.
