APB Reloaded, a free-to-play version of 2010’s open-world crime MMO APB, is now available to download on Xbox One.
The game lets players choose to play as a criminal or vigilante in the ‘crime-ravaged’ city of San Paro, engaging in shootouts, car-chases and robberies. Think of it as being similar to GTA Online and you’re on the right tracks.
For the first 30 days, however, the game will be in a “Soft Launch mode”, during which the developer encourages players to give feedback that it can implement into future updates. Limited public announcements will be made during this time, too.
Being a free-to-play title, the game also features a range of microtransactions that allow players to purchase G1C, an in-game currency used to buy new weapons, vehicles, clothing, armour and more. One of them costs a ridiculous £114.99. You can see the full list of prices below:

APB Reloaded first launched on PC back in 2011, shortly after the original game’s developer Realtime Worlds was placed into administration. The IP was later acquired by Californian online games publisher K2 Network.
A PS4 release date has yet to be confirmed.
