Anthony Head, known by many as Giles in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, will voice Ponsonby, the head of MI5. The character is introduced to the game in order to help the lead aliens (Crypto and POX) fight against the KGB. As the game progresses it is revealed that Ponsonby is not who he appears to be.
“When we were presented with the character Ponsonby, we needed a voice that created an extra dimension and enhanced his upper-class Englishness but hinted at a touch of deceit. Anthony Head has a wealth of acting experience and was the obvious choice. He brought Ponsonby alive in a very unique way,” commented Richard Williams, director of marketing, THQ (UK).
Destroy All Humans! 2 is the sequel to the 2005 hit, and boasts five new locations set in the 1960s. The game’s set for release on PlayStation 2 and Xbox in October. Check out Pro-G’s exclusive interview with Pandemic for more info.
