BioWare has confirmed that matchmaking will be featured in 'every activity' for Anthem, something which the likes Destiny hasn't always offered.

The game's lead producer, Ben Irving, confirmed the news on Twitter when quizzed about whether public matchmaking would be available, or if players would need to form their own parties.

This is obviously good news for Anthem players. As mentioned, Destiny, which offers a shared-world universe much like BioWare's upcoming loot-hunting shooter, didn't always offer matchmaking for certain events. Strikes could be matched publicly, but things like Raids required players to set up their own fireteams.

In other words, it made it much more difficult for solo players to get in on the action if public matchmaking wasn't available. It looks like Anthem won't have that problem.

Anthem is due out on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on February 22.
