Anthem update 1.1.0 lets you change gear during missions

BioWare has made Anthem a lot less frustrating with its latest title update, allowing players to finally switch up Javelin gear loadouts while out on a mission.

Anthem update 1.1.0 also gives you the chance to select contracts at the start of expeditions, and you no longer need to return to Fort Tarsis to launch new missions after polishing off an expedition. In addition, the patch also gives you the chance to access the Forge during missions, strongholds, and freeplay, which should come as a relief.

Elsewhere, Anthem's latest update has rolled out three new Masterwork components: an extended sniper rifle magazine, rapid hollow point ammo for machine pistols and autocannons, and extended special arms magazines for heavy pistols and grenade launchers.

There’s a catch, however. BioWare has now had to delay a number of features, including the Cataclysm event, Mastery System, Guilds, Legendary Missions – Phase II, Weekly Stronghold Challenge, Leaderboards, and a number of Freeplay events. 

Anthem was released on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One in February, although it wasn't in such a great state at launch
