Anthem has debuted at number one on the UK All Format Chart, although its physical launch sales were underwhelming; it only shifted half the number of copies as Mass Effect Andromeda, BioWare's last release.
It's important to mention that Chart-Track does not offer up any numbers for digital sales, so it's unknown how many copies Anthem sold over PSN, Xbox Live, and EA Origin.
Still, compared to some of the other big releases of the year so far, Anthem didn't exactly set the world on fire. It drummed up fewer copies sold than both Kingdom Hearts 3 and Resident Evil 2, for example.
It'll be interesting to see how Anthem continues to perform in the coming weeks and months, and BioWare's already got a 90-day roadmap planned.
