The Ant Bully is an animated movie from Warner Bros. directed by John A. Davies (the man behind Jimmy Neutron, the so called boy genius). The film tells the story of a young boy who fills an ant colony with water and is then shrunk down to ant size and made to work in the colony he wrecked.
“Being a computer animated film, The Ant Bully will be an exciting property to develop as a game,” said Jason Hall, senior vice president of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. “The Ant Bully is a highly anticipated film and we look forward to working with Midway to create dynamic games based on a movie with mass appeal for young gamers.“
The film has an array of A-list voice talent including Nicolas Cage, Julia Roberts and Meryl Streep and is due for release in 2006. Expect a multi-platform game release at the around the same time.
