Mario Kart DS has finally been given a launch date, with Nintendo today announcing that the title will debut in Japan on launch date, December 2nd, and in the US on January 10th. It will be the fifth first-party game to debut with the console itself in Japan, joining Intuitive Stroke, Pokemon Dash Made In Wario, Super Mario 64×4 and Band Brothers.

Though Europe looks like it may have to wait until March for the DS thanks to Nintendo’s ever-blinkered attitude towards this corner of the world, you can be assured the Pro-G will have a run-down of the DS’s American launch titles as soon as is humanly possible.
