Mobile game company DeNA has revealed that it is working on a new smartphone game for Nintendo that will use the Pokemon franchise during its latest Finanical Year Earnings report.

In the report (found here and spotted by VG24/7) the company reveals on page 11 that it has entered into an agreement with The Pokemon Company to 'plan to launch a new and exciting smartphone game this fiscal year based on the globally popular Pokémon franchise'.

DeNA is already a well-established collaborator with Nintendo, having already released many smartphone games featuring Big N licenses such as Super Mario Run, Animal Crossing Pocket Camp and Fire Emblem Heroes, with Mario Kart Tour set to release later this year.

There's no more information on what form this new mobile Pokemon game will take at the present time, with more information promised to be 'announced later'.
