Elijah Wood is an avid Animal Crossing: New Horizons player, and he dropped by a fan’s island to sell his turnips for big Bells (via Nintendo Life).

Could you imagine? Twitter user directedbyrian announced that their turnip buying prices were a whopping 599 Bells, and one of the interested shoppers was the actor Elijah Wood. When he arrived, he was a model Animal Crossing citizen, asking for permission before taking fruit from the trees. He even told the player that their island was beautiful, and posed for photos with their friends, in the rain, no less! (it’s not real rain, but still.)

Also, I’m enjoying how Wood’s character looks uncannily like Wood. The American actor is best known for his role as Frodo Baggins in the The Lord of the Rings movies, but he has lent his talents to video games, too. He voices Spyro in the Legend of Spyro trilogy, and voices Shay in the point-and-click adventure Broken Age. Furthermore, Wood was the creative director for Transference, a virtual reality horror title that was developed in collaboration with Ubisoft.
