Angry Birds Trilogy – a collection featuring levels from Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons, and Angry Birds Rio – will be released for Wii and Wii U on August 16, Activision and Rovio have announced.

In addition to the same content found in the original trilogy release in 2012 – 19 episodes exclusive to the console game and over one hundred hours of total gameplay – the Wii versions also include 165 fan-favourite holiday and seasonally themed levels on-disc.

The Wii U version also features off-screen play, GamePad touch screen controls, and online leaderboards.

The Angry Birds Trilogy has sold over 1.7 million units globally.
