A possible sequel to the mobile gaming phenomenon Angry Birds has been shown on German TV.
The shots were broadcast by the German DW TV network and then picked up by the eagle-eyed lot at MTV. There were no precise details given about the game.
The fuzzy jpg’s could almost pass as Angry Birds if it wasn’t for the sparkly, high-detail backgrounds.
Rovio CEO Peter Vesterbacka claimed last year the Finnish studio wasn’t working on a direct sequel, and instead were working on a game about the pigs. Possible titles may include the following: Furious Pigs, Nasty Pigs, Hungry Pigs and Piggy Pigs.
A confirmed update is coming to Angry Birds next month, which will add Valentines levels to Rovio’s self-published Angry Birds Seasons.
