Angry Birds Friends, a version of the multiplayer focussed game already available for Facebook, will be released for iOS and Android devices on May 2, Rovio has announced.
The new game lets players play and compete with their friends, earning gold, silver and bronze crowns for achieving the top three scores in any level.
The Facebook game was pretty strong on micro-transactions, offering a host of power-ups to help pop those pigs. These extra items can be purchased, earned in-game or received as a gift from other players.
