Max Anarchy, the Japanese title for SEGA and Platinum Games’ Anarchy Reigns will now be released in January 2012, according to the game’s official website.
No reason for the delay out of its previously planned autumn 2011 release date was given.
We’ve contacted SEGA for clarification on the release of Anarchy Reigns in Europe.

Anarchy Reigns is the latest title from the creators of Bayonetta and Vanquish so expectations are high. Perhaps the studio felt it needed more time in order to deliver a product worthy of the Platinum Games name. Alternatively, SEGA felt the autumn release window was far too competitive.
