The Pokemon Company and Nintendo have announced that the upcoming Pokemon titles Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon will see the return of a old enemy in Giovanni, former leader of Team Rocket from all the way back in Pokemon Red and Blue.

He now leads a new faction named Team Rainbow Rocket, made up of bosses from previous Pokemon games in the series including Ghetsis of Team Plasma (Black and White) and Lysandre of Team Flare (X and Y).

Elsewhere, the game will also feature the Battle Agency, a new facility where trainers rent Pokemon for battles for a range of prizes, with the range of creatures available to rent increasing by players mingling with other trainers locally or online. In addition you’ll be able to collect Totem Stickers that allow you to obtain totem-like Pokemon based on the number of stickers collected.

You’ll have to get Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon on the 3DS come November 17 to see how Giovanni managed to convince all these bosses to board the bus to bring them to the Alola region, but if I had to guess I’d say he had to poke ’em on.
