Call of Duty: Black Ops launches tomorrow – in some cases at midnight tonight – but which stores are offering the best deals for buying the game outright or as part of a trade-in offer?

The big trade-in offers come from HMV and Asda. HMV will charge you £7 when trading in a copy of EA’s Medal of Honor, while Asda will ask you to part with only £4.97 if you trade in Fable III, Fallout New Vegas or Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II.

GAME isn’t offering a specific trade-in deal, but is running a promotion by which you’ll pay only £25 for Black Ops when buying any other chart title.

Tesco’s £25 offer should also attract a few late night shoppers. Buy either a 2100 MS Points Card, a £20 PSN Card or a 3 month XBL sub and the game will be yours for £25.

If you’re after a straight-up purchase Asda’s in store price of £36.97 is currently being matched by Amazon.

It’s also worth keeping an eye on Amazon over the course of the week as the online retailer will often price match the best price currently being offered elsewhere.
