Atari has announced Alone in the Dark: Illumination, a “re-imagined version” of the classic horror title heading to PC this autumn.

Due to be formally revealed at PAX Prime next weekend, the game’s official website states that the title is being developed by Pure, an unknown developer based in Los Angeles.

Further details on the game have yet to be announced.

Alone in the Dark originally launched in 1992 with the most recent reboot appearing on PC, PS2, PS3, Wii and Xbox 360 in 2008.
