Swedish team Alliance has taken home the $1.4 million prize for winning The International 2013 Dota 2 Championship, Valve has announced.

Alliance beat Na’Vi (Natus Vincere) to claim this year’s top prize at the Benaroya Hall in Seattle, WA. The event was also broadcast worldwide.

The competition’s total prize pool was over $2.8 million.

Dota 2 officially launched back in July after several years in beta.
