An all-female Japanese musical theatre company will produce the third entry of the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney live stage show in January 2013, Capcom has announced.

‘Prosecutor Miles Edgeworth: Ace Attorney 3’ follows Takarazuka Revue’s 2009 productions of Ace Attorney and Ace Attorney 2, which played to over 50,000 people. The troupe will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2014.

The Ace Attorney video game series has been hugely successful for Capcom, selling over 4.3 million units worldwide. There has also been a movie based on the first Ace Attorney game, which was released earlier this year in Japan.
