Aliens versus Predator Classic 2000 is free on GOG.com until Friday morning, GOG.com has announced.
The freebie comes in an effort to get people to sign up to the GOG Galaxy Multiplayer beta. In the new phase of testing, GOG.com wants gamers to try out their GOG Galaxy infrastructure with an action-packed FPS classic.
“We’re ready to take in more gamers, and AvP seemed like a natural choice: it’s high up on our community wishlist, and it’s definitely one of the all-time best FPS titles. It also allows for testing Galaxy in a more dynamic environment.” explains Piotr Karwowski, GOG.com’s VP of Online Tech.
To claim your free copy of AvP sign up to the beta through GOG.com’s website before Friday morning and the classic title will appear on your virtual shelf.
