Aliens Infestation has been found in an Australian game classification, and is shown to be in development at Wayforward Technologies and published by Aliens license holder SEGA.
SEGA was reportedly working with Wayforward on a DS spin-off of Aliens: Colonial Marines while Gearbox handled the main console and PC versions. SEGA declined to comment.

Footage of the thought to be cancelled DS title certainly looked promising and Wayforward has a history of creating excellent 2D side-scrolling titles. Hopefully we’ll see more on the Aliens titles at E3 next month.
