Alien: Isolation runs at 1080p on Xbox One and PS4

Both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Alien: Isolation will run at 1080p, Creative Assembly has confirmed.

Confirmation arrived via the game’s official Twitter feed, which told fans that it was “Happy to confirm that the game will run in 1080p on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One!”

Target resolutions for the current-gen versions have yet to be announced.

The first details on Alien: Isolation were officially announced yesterday, confirming that the game will follow Ellen Ripley’s daughter Amanda as she creeps about a derelict space station looking for clues as to her mother’s whereabouts.

The game launches on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PC in late 2014.
