Last week Xbox Live Arcade fans were left disappointed, but this week comes the release of one of the service’s most anticipated titles. After a very long wait, The Behemoth’s side-scrolling action title, Alien Hominid HD, finally makes it onto Xbox live Arcade.

The game has been given an overhaul and now features some rather lovely looking high-def visuals and Xbox Live play. The main sixteen-level game is playable in single-player or with the aid of a local friend, plus there are seven mini-games with support for up to four players offline or over Xbox Live.

The game will also offer 200 Gamerscore points with 12 Achievements to work towards. All this will only set you back 800 Microsoft Points, making Alien HD a great value title.

There will of course also be a playable demo which will provide gamers with a rough idea of what to expect from the full game.
