Remedy Entertainment has announced that it will be showcasing Project7 at E3 in June, and has also confirmed that it will bring the game to PlayStation 4. This will mark the first time the studio has launched a game for a Sony platform in 15 years. Blimey.

In addition to confirming the title will be strutting its stuff in Los Angeles, the Alan Wake creator revealed it will also unveil Project7's real name and will provide a hands-off glimpse at the mysterious title. It's also worth remembering this isn't Remedy's only new title, as it's working on a second game too (Alan Wake 2? Probably not, but I can dream).

Project7 is currently pencilled in for a 2019 release on PS4, PC, and Xbox One, although an exact release date has yet to be nailed down. Remedy has partnered with 505 Games to publish the title worldwide, having previously gotten all chummy with Microsoft during the last generation of consoles, hence why we never saw Alan Wake and Quantum Break on PS4.

Speaking of which, Alan Wake was a bloody magnificent horror romp and well worth checking out if you haven't already done so. Quantum Break wasn't half bad either, to be honest.
