Following earlier rumours, Finnish developer Remedy has confirmed at a London press conference that Alan Wake will be released for PC in Q1 2012.
The PC version of the game will come with both DLC packs – The Signal and The Writer – included as standard. It will also be released on Steam.
The older amongst you might remember the first time Alan Wake was announced for PC was in 2006, before it was later re-revealed as a then-exclusive to the Xbox 360.
VideoGamer.com awarded the game a 9/10 in its Alan Wake review, calling it “a stunning action game, a superbly scripted adventure and a technical showcase for the now-ageing Xbox 360 hardware.”
Alan Wake’s next episodic adventure – Alan Wake’s American Nightmares – launches in 2012. Will this also see a PC release?
