The highly anticipated MMO Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures has had its release date pushed back from October 30, 2007 to March 25, 2008. The extra five months will be used to hone, polish and improve the title and to ensure gamers are offered a fantastic MMO experience when it launches in the spring.

We naturally regret that we have to push back ‘Age of Conan’. However, after careful consideration, and analysis of recent Beta feedback, we believe that the new release date is in the best interest of the gamers, our company and our owners,” said Trond Arne Aas, CEO of Funcom.

Age of Conan is currently in general Beta and applications for testing are available at ageofconan.com.

An Xbox 360 is also in development, although the latest press info detailing the PC version’s delay makes no mention of it.
