MMO specialist Funcom has revealed it hasn’t given up on bringing its Age of Conan MMO to Xbox 360, although admits the ship may have already sailed.
“We obviously had many more challenges than we envisioned getting our technology to adapt to the console platform,” Funcom Game Director Craig Morrison told CVG.
“We are still working on it for the future, and we see it as a potentially valuable platform for our games. Whether we have missed a window for Age of Conan itself remains to be seen.”
Morrison added that he believes MMOs on consoles are a currently “untapped market” and is confident that continued efforts in the space will see “more cross-platform MMO titles”.
Funcom is currently readying its first Age of Conan expansion, Rise of the Godslayer.
