Afro Samurai 2’s first episode is coming to Xbox One on October 9, two weeks after its debut on PS4 and PC today, Versus Evil has confirmed.

While pricing for the Xbox One version has yet to be revealed, each episode will likely be priced in line with the PS4 version at £11.99. A trilogy pack offering access to all three episodes at a discounted rate will not be available on Xbox One, however, instead remaining exclusive to PS4 and PC.

Afro Samurai 2 sees players step into the role of the bear-headed Kuma to seek revenge of Afro, and is split into three volumes each with their own characters, combat styles and story arches.

But is it any good? Well, the first – and seemingly only review – describes the game as an “unpleasant, deeply depressing experience”, scoring the game 2/10. And if that isn’t enough to convince you, why not take a look at the launch trailer below?
