Activision has confirmed to CVG that the next Call of Duty title will be called Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
The game is in development at Infinity War (the team behind the first and second titles in the series) and the game will be seen first on North American television during the NFL draft on ESPN at 1pm EDT/10am PDT.
Activision isn’t giving away any details just yet, but rumours suggest the game will see players dealing with terrorist threats around the world. Players will play as part of the S.A.S. US Marines and the US Army, with the action taking place in the Middle-East, Eastern Europe, aboard sea vessels in the North Atlantic and in London.
With the first video from the game appearing over the weekend, expect some official info to arrive shortly.
