Namco Bandai Games has announced Ace Combat: Assault Horizon for PS3 and Xbox 360, a new instalment in the hit aerial combat series.
The only previous Ace Combat title to appear on this generation of consoles is Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation, which launched on Xbox 360 back in 2007.
Assault Horizon is being developed by series veteran Project Aces and will feature single and multi-player game modes. The game is promised to be a reboot of sorts.
The announcement trailer also shows what appears to be destructible environments, helicopter combat and even a turret sequence.
