Ubisoft has announced Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood: The Da Vinci Edition, a new retail SKU for the acclaimed open-world action title which features a download code for the upcoming ‘The Da Vinci Disappearance’ DLC.

The Da Vinci Disappearance: After the fall of the Borgias in Rome, Leonardo Da Vinci is kidnapped by the Hermeticists, an underground cult dedicated to transforming mankind. Ezio must recover stolen paintings in order to find Leo before it’s too late. Players will be given access to two new locations and two new gameplay features.

The DLC also features what Ubisoft calls the “biggest expansion” to the game’s multiplayer yet, including one new map, four new characters and two new game modes.

This new content will cost 800 MS Points if bought separately.

Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood: The Da Vinci Edition will be released March 25 priced £49.99 for PS3 and Xbox 360.

Given the regular edition of the game can be snapped up for around £24.99, the new SKU feels rather costly in comparison even when you factor in the cost of the premium DLC.
