Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood will receive its first single-player DLC in early March, Ubisoft has announced.

After the fall of the Borgias in Rome, Leonardo Da Vinci is kidnapped by the Hermeticists, an underground cult dedicated to transforming mankind. Ezio must recover stolen paintings in order to find Leo before it’s too late. Players will be given access to two new locations and two new gameplay features.

The DLC also features what Ubisoft calls the “biggest expansion” to the game’s multiplayer yet, including one new map, four new characters and two new game modes.

The new multiplayer map, Alhambra, is set in Spain’s Albaicin of Granada and provides multileveled indoor and outdoor areas. The four new characters include Dama Rossa, the Knight, the Marquis and the Pariah.

The new Escort mode sees two teams of four players competing to protect their VIP target or assassinate the other team’s VIP. In Assassinate mode, six to eight players are pitted against each other in a deathmatch.

The Da Vinci Disappearance will be priced 800 MS Points.

Previous Brotherhood DLC has been offered free of charge, but it was inevitable that Ubisoft would eventually begin charging for the extra content. This pack does at least appear to offer a good chunk of single and multiplayer to sink your time into.
