Launching a new IP is difficult, and A2M’s WET had difficulties even getting into stores after it was dropped by publisher Vivendi, before later being revived under the caring wing of Bethesda.

The game turned out to be a somewhat brainless action romp, that focussed too much on style than substance, but still offered some enjoyment. But, will we see Rubi, the game’s heroine again? Quite possibly believes the game’s creative director Patrick Fortier.

“I think it’s fair to say that we definitely built a very iconic universe whose span is bigger than this first instalment,” said Fortier.
