UnlockRiver, a YouTube channel that unlocks phones and drops gadgets from ridiculous heights, recently posted a video where they tested the durability of a Nintendo Switch by dropping it from 1,000 feet (via Polygon).

Using a bit of sellotape, a wire, and a decent enough drone, the UnlockRiver team suspended Nintendo’s latest bit of kit in the air and watched it drop from a great height, into the middle of what looks like a supermarket car park.

In the video below, you can see the whole thing happen, and if this is all legit, it’s quite impressive. The left Joycon was a little bit worse for wear, but still, fair play to Nintendo. Obviously, it goes without saying that trying this at home isn’t recommended.Â
